Women’s Bible Study

Our Women’s Bible Study is designed for women to spend time in Word and prayer and to encourage and edify one another.  The study is led by various women of the congregation, followed by a short time of prayer and fellowship.

We meet in the church fellowship hall every other Thursday at 7:15 p.m. Presently we are studying the classic Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan.  Contact Sarah Pederson with questions, speders3@gmail.com.

Hospitality & Service

We support our local ministries and world-wide missions in a variety of ways.  We host meals and provide housing for presbytery/denomination meetings.  We serve the needy of our own congregation and support local outreach organizations.  We also coordinate Calvary’s monthly Fellowship Meals, bridal and baby showers, Sunday flower arrangements, and receptions.  We also promote evangelism through service projects, and provide opportunities for the church members to get to know each other better, specifically through Dinners for Eight.

Fellowship Events

Brunch

Last year’s Women’s Fellowship brunch was held September 13th in the Fellowship Hall.  We enjoyed breakfast and fellowship together. We also discussed plans for the upcoming year. The brunch is hosted by the executive committee of the Calvary Women’s Fellowship.

Fine Arts Night

This is our annual opportunity to display the gifts God has given to us in the arts – through music, painting, photography, drama, and others.  We look forward to the opportunity to appreciate the gifts of both the young and old and return thanks to God.

Retreat

At the end of each year, women gather to hear a special devotional message, enjoy a meal and fellowship together.
